The Fixed Penalty (Amendment) Order 2003

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 53 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988( 1 ), and after consultation in accordance with section 88(2) of that Act with such representative organisations as he thinks fit, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Fixed Penalty (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st June 2003.

(2) This Order applies in relation to a fixed penalty offence alleged to have been committed on or after 1st June 2003.

Amendment of the Fixed Penalty Order 2000

2. The table in the Schedule to this Order shall be substituted for the fixed penalties table in the Schedule to the Fixed Penalty Order 2000( 2 ).
