The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 19(2) and 20(1) of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:โ€”

Citation, commencement and extent

1. โ€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion (Sponsorship) Transitional (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 27th June 2003.

(2) These Regulations extend to England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Amendment of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion (Sponsorship) Transitional Regulations 2003

2. In regulation 3(2)(b)(ii) of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion (Sponsorship) Transitional Regulations 2003( 2 ) after the word โ€œvisibleโ€ there shall be inserted the word โ€œtobaccoโ€.
