In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by paragraph 2 of Schedule 8 to the Education Act 2002( 1 ) the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Additional Secondary School Proposals) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st July 2003.

Amendment of the Education (Additional Secondary School Proposals) Regulations 2003

2. —(1)The Education (Additional Secondary School Proposals) Regulations 2003( 2 ) shall be amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 12(2) for “by the local education authority” substitute “from the local education authority”.
