The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-paragraph (5) of paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 to the Children Act 1989( 1 ), after consultation in accordance with that sub-paragraph with the Aycliffe School Trust, the voluntary organisation by which the Aycliffe controlled community home (now known as the Aycliffe Young People’s Centre) is provided, and with Durham County Council, the local authority which is specified in the Aycliffe School Instrument of Management Order 1973( 2 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Aycliffe Instrument of Management (Variation) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 19 th July 2003.

Variation of the Aycliffe School Instrument of Management Order 1973

2. In Article 9(2) of the Aycliffe School Instrument of Management Order 1973 , for “70” there shall be substituted “72”.
