The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 452 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002( 1 ), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Crown Servants) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 24th February 2003.

2. In these Regulations, β€œthe Director of Savings” means the Director of Savings appointed under section 1 of the National Debt Act 1972( 2 ).

3. The provisions of Part 7 and section 342 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 apply toβ€”

(a) the Director of Savings; and

(b) any person employed by or otherwise engaged in the service of the Director of Savings.
