The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 287(1) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002( 1 ) and after consultation with the Scottish Ministers, hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Financial Threshold for Civil Recovery) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 24th February 2003.

2. The amount specified for the purposes of section 287 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 is £10,000.
