The State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.5) and Appointed Day Order 2003

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(3) of the State Pension Credit Act 2002( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (Commencement No.5) and Appointed Day Order 2003.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for—

(a) the coming into force of the State Pension Credit Act 2002 (in so far as not already in force); and

(b) the purposes of section 13 of that Act,

is 6 th October 2003.
