Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(2) of the School Inspections Act 1996( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Schools in England) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 18th July 2003.

2. —(1) The person named in Part 1of the Schedule is appointed Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools in England with effect from 1st August 2003.

(2) The persons named in Part 2 of the Schedule are appointed Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Schools in England with effect from 1st September 2003.

(3) The person named in Part 3 of the Schedule is appointed Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools in England with effect from 1st November 2003.
