The Greater London Authority Act 1999 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the power conferred by section 425(2) of the Greater London Authority Act( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2003.

Commencement of provisions

2. The following provisions of the Greater London Authority Act 1999 shall come into force on 15th July 2003—

(a) section 217;

(b) section 220 (and accordingly Schedules 14 and 15) and sections 221 to 224;

(c) section 245 so far as it is not already in force;

(d) section 301;

(e) section 303 so far as it is not already in force;

(f) section 423 so far as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 34 brought into force by sub-paragraph (h) below;

(g) Schedule 17 so far as it is not already in force; and

(h) Part II of Schedule 34 except so far as it—

(i) relates to Part II of the Transport Act 1985; or

(ii) is already in force.
