In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by sections 19(2) and (8) and 24 of the Education Act 2002( 1 ) the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Federation of Schools (Community Schools, Community Special Schools, Voluntary Controlled Schools and Maintained Nursery Schools) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st September 2003.

Amendment of the Federation of Schools (Community Schools, Community Special Schools, Voluntary Controlled Schools and Maintained Nursery Schools) (England) Regulations 2003

2. —(1) The Federation of Schools (Community Schools, Community Special Schools, Voluntary Controlled Schools and Maintained Nursery Schools) (England) Regulations 2003( 2 ) shall be amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 13(3) omit the word “not”.
