The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 34(1) and (4) of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Act 1996( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (Nomination) (Amendment) Order 2003, and shall come into force on 28th September 2003.

Amendment of nominated undertaker appointment

2. The Channel Tunnel Rail Link (Nomination) Order 1999( 2 ) is amended by, in articles 3(2)(b) and 3(2)(c) after “section 14”, inserting “(1)(b)”.
