1. β(1) This Order may be cited as the A2070 (Brenzett to M20 Junction 10, Ashford) and B2067 (Ashford Road, Link Road) (Trunking) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 30th September 2003.
(2) In this Order, all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.
2. The length of highway described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Kent County Council that he is to be the highway authority responsible for this length of road.
The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA 10/OD/444, marked βThe A2070 (Brenzett to M20 Junction 10, Ashford) and B2067 (Ashford Road, Link Road) (Trunking) Order 2003.β, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the DfT Records, Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7GA.

THE SCHEDULE LENGTHS OF HIGHWAY BECOMING A TRUNK ROAD
The lengths of highway becoming a trunk road are the whole of the A2070 from the A2070/A259 junction at Brenzett in the County of Kent to the Junction with the A2070/M20 (Junction 10), a distance of about 18 kilometres including the slip roads with the A2042 and the slip road from/to the B2067 Ashford Road, Ham Street to the A2070.
