The Access to Justice Act 1999 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2003

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 108(1) of the Access to Justice Act 1999( 1 ) and now vested in him( 2 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Access to Justice Act 1999 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2003.

2. Section 50 (funding of Ombudsman by professional bodies), section 51 and Schedule 8 (Commissioner) and section 52 (Commissioner’s functions) of the Access to Justice Act 1999 shall come into force on 1st November 2003.
