The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 82(4) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995( 1 ) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Merchant Navy Reserve) (Revocation) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 15th December 2003.

2. The Merchant Shipping (Merchant Navy Reserve) Regulations 1989( 2 ) are hereby revoked.
