The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 24(7) and 41 of the Finance Act 2003( 1 ), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Finance Act 2003, Part 3, (Appointed Day) Order 2003.

2. The day appointed for the purposes of Part 3 of the Finance Act 2003 is 27 November 2003.
