The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(3) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994( 1 ) and by virtue of the Department for Transport (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration Fees) Order 2003( 2 ) hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 1st January 2004.

Amendment

2. In Regulation 10(1) of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002( 3 ) for “£25” there shall be substituted “£38”.
