Whereas the Secretary of State published in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes the notice required by section 6(2) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1998 (“the 1998 Act”)( 1 ), in respect of the Wireless Telegraphy (Public Fixed Wireless Access Licences) Regulations 2002 (“the 2002 Regulations”)( 2 ) and no representations were made to her within the time specified in that notice;

And whereas the following regulations only amend a defect in the 2002 Regulations and do not alter the general effect set out in the said notice;

Therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by sections 3 and 6 of the 1998 Act( 3 ) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations—

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Public Fixed Wireless Access Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 27th February 2003.

Amendment

2. In Part 1 of the Schedule to the 2002 Regulations the sector “GU24” shall be omitted from the second column in the row entitled “Southern”.
