The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 9 of Schedule 14 to the Access to Justice Act 1999( 1 ) makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Defence Service (Funding) (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st April 2003.

2. In article 3(1) of the Criminal Defence Service (Funding) Order 2001( 2 ), for “4th April 2005” substitute “1st April 2003”.
