The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 17 of the Access to Justice Act 1999( ) makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Defence Service (Recovery of Defence Costs Orders) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 and shall come into force on 7th April 2003.
2. In regulation 9(2)(c) of the Criminal Defence Service (Recovery of Defence Costs Orders) Regulations 2001( ), for “£24,500” substitute “£25,000”.
