The Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 (Commencement No. 16) Order 2003

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 89(1) of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 (Commencement No. 16) Order 2003.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 34 of Schedule 8 to the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999( 2 ) is 6th April 2003.
