The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 26, 35(1) and 36(2) to (5) of the Jobseekers Act 1995( 1 ) and after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that the proposals in regards of these Regulations should not be referred to it( 2 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Back to Work Bonus (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 25th October 2004, immediately after the Social Security (Back to Work Bonus and Lone Parent Run-on) (Amendment and Revocation) Regulations 2003( 3 ).

2. In regulation 10 of the Social Security (Back to Work Bonus and Lone Parent Run-on) (Amendment and Revocation) Regulations 2003—
(a) in paragraph (1) for “Subject to paragraph (2)” substitute “Subject to the amendments made by paragraphs (2) and (3)”;
(b) in paragraph (1)(d), after “regulation 23(6) of the Back to Work Bonus Regulations” add “, or who makes a claim for a bonus after 28th January 2005 within the appropriate specified period”.
