The Transport Act 2000 (Consequential Amendment) Order 2004

Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by each House of Parliament in pursuance of section 277(3) of the Transport Act 2000( 1 ).

Now, therefore the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 277(1) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 2000 (Consequential Amendment) Order 2004 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Amendment of section 44 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982

2. In section 44(10) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982( 2 ) for “(7)” there is substituted “(7A)”.
