The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 106(1) – (3) and 112(3) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002( 1 ), after consulting with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992( 2 ), makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Immigration and Asylum Appeals (Fast Track Procedure) (Amendment) Rules 2004 and shall come into force on 20th July 2004.

Amendment to the Immigration and Asylum Appeals (Fast Track Procedure) Rules 2003

2. In the Schedule to the Immigration and Asylum Appeals (Fast Track Procedure) Rules 2003( 3 ), before “Immigration Removal Centre, Harmondsworth, Middlesex” insert—
