The Licensing Act 2003 (Licensing statement period) Order 2004

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 5(2)(a) of the Licensing Act 2003( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement and interpretation

1. β€”(1) This Order may be cited as the Licensing Act 2003 (Licensing statement period) Order 2004 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.

(2) In this Order, β€œthe Act” means the Licensing Act 2003.

Licensing statement period

2. For the purposes of section 5(2) of the Act, the three year period( 2 ) shall begin on 7 th January 2005.
