1. This Order may be cited as the A 52 Trunk Road (Dunkirk Roundabout) (Detrunking) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 1st March 2005.
2. In this Orderβ
(i) βprincipal roadβ as a classification for a highway, means that the highway is a principal road for the purposes of enactments and instruments which refer to highways classified as principal roads and is also classified for the purpose of every other enactment and instrument which refers to highways classified by the Secretary of State;
(ii) βthe trunk roadβ means the A 52 Trunk Road; and
(iii) βthe planβ means the plan, numbered HA 10/OD/409, marked βThe A 52 Trunk Road (Dunkirk Roundabout) (Detrunking) Order 2004β, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport, and deposited at DFT Records Management Branch, Ashdown House, Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7GA.
3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which the Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD
The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated at the junction of the trunk road with the A6005 principal road at Dunkirk, in the City of Nottingham, being the circulatory lanes of the Dunkirk Roundabout. It is shown by black diagonal hatching on the plan.
