The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 453 and 459(2) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (References to Financial Investigators) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 17th January 2005.

2. —(1) The Schedule to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (References to Financial Investigators) Order 2003( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) At the end of the entry in column 2 in respect of section 378(4)(a) in relation to England and Wales insert —

(f) the Inland Revenue. .

(3) At the end of the entry in column 2 in respect of section 378(4)(a) in relation to Northern Ireland insert—

(e) the Inland Revenue. .

(4) At the end of the entry in column 2 in respect of section 378(6)(c) in relation to England and Wales insert —

(e) the Inland Revenue and is not below the grade designated by the Commissioners of Inland Revenue as Grade 6. .

(5) At the end of the entry in column 2 in respect of section 378(6)(c) in relation to Northern Ireland insert —

(d) the Inland Revenue and is not below the grade designated by the Commissioners of Inland Revenue as Grade 6. .
