The Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990 (Commencement No.2) Order 2004

The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Advocate in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 7 of the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990( 1 ) make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990 (Commencement No.2) Order 2004.

2. The following provisions of the Contracts (Applicable Law) Act 1990 shall come into force on 1st March 2005:

(a) section 2(1) insofar as it relates to the Brussels Protocol as defined in section 1;

(b) section 3(1), (2) and (3)(b).
