The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2004

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992( 1 ), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 14th April 2004.

Increase of earnings limits in respect of dependent children

2. In paragraph 4(4) of Schedule 7( 2 ) to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992

(a) in paragraph (a), for the amount of £160 there shall be substituted the amount of £165, and

(b) in paragraph (b), for the amount of £20 there shall be substituted the amount of £21 and for the amount of £160 there shall be substituted the amount of £165.
