The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 27 and 166 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999( 1 ) and section 56 of the Finance Act 1973( 2 ), and with the approval of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Travel Documents (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.

2. The Travel Documents (Fees) Regulations 1999( 3 ) shall be amended by substituting the sum of £42 for the sum of £28 in regulation 3(1).
