The Finance Act 2002 Section 140 (Appointed Day) Order 2004

10th March 2004

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 140 of the Finance Act 2002 hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Finance Act 2002( 1 ) Section 140 (Appointed Day) Order 2004.

2. The date appointed as the day upon which section 140 of the Finance Act 2002 (administration of UK gilts) is to come into force is 11th March 2004.
