Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(2) of the School Inspections Act 1996( 1 ), is pleased by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Inspectors of Schools in England) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 11th March 2004.

2. The persons named in the Schedule are appointed Her Majesty’s Inspector of Schools in England with effect from 1st April 2004.
