The Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2004

16th March 2004

Whereas the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of Part 1 of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003( 1 ) which are listed in articles 2 and 3 of this Order is one decided on by the Secretary of State and the Scottish Ministers;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 94 of that Act, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

1. —(1) The Order may be cited as the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2004.

(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 .

2. Sections 49 to 51 of the Act shall come into force on 26th March 2004.

3. —(1) The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 26th April 2004.
