The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) of the Transport and Works Act 1992( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and application
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (Guided Systems)(England)(Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 12th September 2005.
2. This Order applies to England only.
Amendment of the Transport (Guided Systems) Order 1992
3. —(1)The Transport (Guided Systems) Order 1992( 2 ) shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this Order.
(2) In article 3(1) the definition of “magnetic levitation” shall be omitted.
(3) In the Schedule—
(a) the entry relating to Gatwick Airport and the terminal points comprising South Terminal and South Terminal satellite/pier 3 shall be omitted,
(b) in the entry relating to Stansted Airport, in the description of the terminal points, for “satellite 1” there shall be substituted “satellites 1 and 2”,
(c) for the entry relating to Birmingham International Airport there shall be substituted—
