The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 67 of, and by sub-paragraph 3(d) of paragraph 2 of Schedule 3A to, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995( 1 ), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Compromise Agreements (Description of Person) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1 st October 2005.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 .

Person Specified

2. For the purposes of sub-paragraph 3(d) of paragraph 2 of Schedule 3A to the Act, a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives employed by a solicitors' practice is specified.

1995 c. 50 . Section 67 was amended by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 (c. 13) , section 19 and Schedule 1, Part 1, paragraph 33, and sub-paragraph 3(d) of paragraph 2 of Schedule 3A was inserted by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005, section 19 and Schedule 1, Part 1, paragraph 39.
