M1,M2 The Secretary of State, being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to access to the labour market of the United Kingdom, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section 2(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 1st October 2005.

M3 (2) Regulation 2 shall not have effect in relation to an application for a registration certificate under regulation 8 of the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) Regulations 2004 made before 1st October 2005.

2. In regulation 8(4)(a) of the Accession (Immigration and Worker Registration) Regulations 2004, for “£50” substitute “ £70 ” .
