The Millennium Commission (Reduction in Membership) Order 2005

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 6 to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Millennium Commission (Reduction in Membership) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st October 2005.

Reduction in membership

2. —(1) In paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 substitute “seven” for “eight”.

(2) For paragraph 1(1)(a) of Schedule 6 to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 substitute “one shall be a Minister of the Crown, and”.
