The Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2005

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 162(1) and (6) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002( 1 ):

1. This Order may be cited as the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2005.

2. In this Order, “the Act” means the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 .

3. —(1) Subject to paragraph (2), section 1(1) and (2) of the Act shall come into force on 1st November 2005.

(2) Section 1(1) and (2) of the Act shall come into force in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man on 1st May 2006.
