The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 216(2) and 232(5) of the Education Reform Act 1988( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Listed Bodies) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 10th November 2005.

Amendment of the Education (Listed Bodies) (England) Order 2004

2. The Education (Listed Bodies) (England) Order 2004( 2 ) is amended as follows.

3. In Section 1 of Part 1 of the Schedule—

(a) omit—

(i) “Central School of Speech and Drama”;

(ii) “Edge Hill College of Higher Education”;

(iii) “Kent Institute of Art and Design”;

(iv) “Laban Centre, London”;

(v) “Southampton Institute”;

(vi) “Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College, The”;

(vii) “York St John College”;

(b) for “Trinity College of Music”, substitute “Trinity Laban”.

4. In Part 2 of the Schedule, omit—

(a) University of Wales, Cardiff”; and

(b) University of Wales, College of Medicine”.
