The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 63(1) of the Airports Act 1986 ( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Airport Byelaws (Designation) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 16th March 2005.

Designation

2. Doncaster Sheffield Airport is hereby designated for the purposes of section 63 of the Airports Act 1986.

1986 c. 31 . Section E4 of Schedule 5 to the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46) states that the subject matter of section 63 of the Airports Act 1986 is not reserved. By virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46) the functions of the Secretary of State under section 63 of the Airports Act 1986 (c. 31) are exercisable by the Scottish Ministers.
