The Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004 (Commencement) (England) Order 2005

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 6(2) of the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004 (Commencement) (England) Order 2005.

(2) This Order applies in relation to England only.

Appointed day

2. The 1st April 2005 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004.
