The Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 2006

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 19th day of July 2006

Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

A draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Accordingly, Her Majesty, on the advice of Her Privy Council and in exercise of the power conferred by section 1(2) of the Armed Forces Act 2001( 1 ), makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 2006.

2. The Army Act 1955( 2 ), the Air Force Act 1955( 3 ) and the Naval Discipline Act 1957( 4 ) shall, instead of expiring on 31st August 2006, continue in force until 31st December 2006.
