Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 87 of the Post Office Act 1969( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Postal Services (Jersey) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 20th July 2006.

Revocation of instruments making provision for Jersey

2.The Postal Services (Jersey) Order 1969( 2 ) is revoked.

3. The following Orders are revoked in so far as they extend to the Bailiwick of Jersey—

(a) the Postal Services (Channel Islands Consequential Provisions) Order 1969( 3 );

(b) the Postal Services (Isle of Man Consequential Provisions) Order 1973( 4 ).
