The Armed Forces Act 2001 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2006

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 39(2) of the Armed Forces Act 2001( 1 ):

1. This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces Act 2001 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2006.

2. The following provisions of the Armed Forces Act 2001 (“the Act”) shall come into force on 3rd February 2006—

3. In relation to sections 32 and 33 of, and paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 of Schedule 5 to, the Act, article 2 only applies to incidents which occur on or after 3 rd February 2006.
