The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 5 of Schedule 9 to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002( 1 ), make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (Business in the Regulated Sector) Order 2006 and comes into force on 6 April 2007.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule 9

2. In Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002( 2 ) (regulated sector), in paragraph 2(g) after “a regulated mortgage contract” insert “, rights under a regulated home reversion plan or rights under a regulated home purchase plan”.
