The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 ( 1 ).

He has been designated( 2 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) in relation to the regulation and supervision of working conditions of persons engaged in road transport and to measures relating to the organisation of working time.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Community Drivers' Hours and Working Time (Road Tankers) (Temporary Exception) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 11th February 2006.

Amendment of the Community Drivers' Hours and Working Time (Road Tankers) (Temporary Exception) Regulations 2006

2. —(1)The Community Drivers' Hours and Working Time (Road Tankers) (Temporary Exception) Regulations 2006( 3 ) are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 2, for “10th February 2006” substitute “12th March 2006”.
