In exercise of the powers conferred on the appropriate Minister by section 11 of the Channel Tunnel Act 1987( 1 ), the Secretary of State makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 26 ^th October 2006.

Amendment of the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 1994

2. In article 7 of the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 1994( 2 ) for the words “and the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989( 3 )” there shall be substituted the words “the Terrorism Act 2000( 4 ) and the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999( 5 )”.
