In exercise of the powers conferred on the appropriate Minister by section 11 of the Channel Tunnel Act 1987( 1 ), the Secretary of State makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 26 th October 2006.

Amendment of the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 1994

2. In article 7 of the Channel Tunnel (Miscellaneous Provisions) Order 1994( 2 ) for the words “and the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989( 3 )” there shall be substituted the words “the Terrorism Act 2000( 4 ) and the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999( 5 )”.
