Her Majesty, in pursuance of sections 4(2) and 5(9) of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967( 1 ), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order 2006.
(2) This Order comes into force on 22 nd January 2007.
(3) In this Order, “the Act” means the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 .
Amendments to the Act
2. In Schedule 2 to the Act—
(a) insert the following entries in the appropriate place in alphabetical order—
