The Representation of the People (National Assembly for Wales) (Relevant Registration Officer) Order 2007

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 44(3)(b) of the Electoral Administration Act 2006( 1 ) makes the following Order.
1. This Order may be cited as the Representation of the People (National Assembly for Wales) (Relevant Registration Officer) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st May 2007.
2. Where an election to the National Assembly for Wales( 2 ) is held in respect of an electoral area comprising any part of the area of more than one local authority, the relevant registration officer shall be the office holder designated in column 2 of the Schedule to this Order and shall carry out this function in relation to the electoral area shown opposite in column 1.
