The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 409(1) and (6) and 413(1) and (2) of the Greater London Authority Act 1999( 1 ).

In accordance with section 413(3) of that Act she has consulted all bodies which, and all persons who, she considers may be affected.

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Regeneration Agency (London Development Agency) Transfer Scheme 2000 (Modification) Order 2007, and shall come into force on 18th July 2007.

Modification of Transfer Scheme

2. The Urban Regeneration Agency (London Development Agency) Transfer Scheme 2000 shall be deemed for all purposes to have come into force with the following inserted after clause 3—

3A. PROVISIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THE TRANSFER OF DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONAL PROPERTY

3A.1. The rights and liabilities in freehold, leasehold and other property transferred under clause 2.1.2 of this Scheme shall be deemed for the purposes of Schedule 6 to the Regional Development Agencies Act 1998 ( 2 ) (Vesting and Acquisition of Land: Supplementary Provisions) to have been vested in the Transferee under that Act. .
