The Secretary of State for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18(10) of the Children Act 2004( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Children Act 2004 (Director of Children’s Services) Appointed Day Order 2007.

Appointed day

2. The day appointed for the purposes of section 18 of the Children Act 2004(Director of Children’s Services) is 1st January 2008.
